Some Very Nice Things About the Labyrinth

I’ve been blessed to know some very cool people.

They are some of the very best writers that I know. They are creators of worlds I want to live in, artists capable of magic and wonder. They also said some cool things about Minotaur, coming on November 18th, 2025, from Rebel Satori Press.

They were kind enough to read it and give me their thoughts on Minotaur. I’m overjoyed that they had such wonderful things to say about Minotaur. Here are the blurbs for the book in no particular order.

“In The Minotaur, Jamieson Wolf takes us to the depths of our consciousness as much as to the depths of the labyrinth. The Minotaur is an examination of fear, but also of belonging and community connections under difficult circumstances. Jamieson’s work is deeply psychological and character-centred, bringing these people to life.”

Derek Newman-Stille, Creator of Speculating Canada

“Minotaur is an unflinchingly honest, deeply compassionate novel that drew me in and held me until the final page. Jamieson Wolf has a gift for bringing us inside a character’s perspective and showing us their world, with all its flaws and wonders.”

Kate Heartfield, Aurora-winning author of The Valkyrie

“An expertly woven dystopia that exposes a fundamental truth: Even when hopelessly trapped, the desire to be free cannot be contained. The ending will haunt me for a long time.”

Cait Gordon, award-winning author of Season One: Iris and the Crew Tear Through Space!

“A stunning tale of bravery and hope in the shadow of the minotaur. Like Madeline Miller’s Circe, Jamieson Wolf weaves an entire world out of Greek myth, creating moments as soft as a blue glow worm in a jar, yet never fails to confront the savage cut of death, truth and fate. Wolf not only drew me through a thoughtful adventure but makes me ask some hard questions about life. Five stars.”

Melissa Yi, award-winning Author of The Shapes of Wrath

“An eerily effective modern myth of life abiding and adapting in a menacing world of darkness and silence.”

Stephen Graham King, Author of The Infinite Heist

I am so thankful to each of these people who read the book, and I can’t wait for all of you to read it. November 18th is coming up quickly! It’s hard to believe that in less than a month, you will be able to enter the labyrinth and meet the Minotaur!
