15 – Kissed by a Vampire by Caridad Pineiro

16 – Dark Eden: Phantom File and Dark Eden Eve of Destruction (Book and App) by Patrick Carman

Pretty awesome, no? I normally pick ten books to make it on the list but this year, since the world was ending and all (lol) I wanted to put all the books that moved me, engaged me and evoked a response from me.

Part Two of The Best Books of 2012 isn’t that long; after all, it’s practically Christmas! How th heck did that happen. Nevertheless, the rest of the list is awesome. Here they are in no particular order:

17 – The Twelve Tribes of Hattie by Ayana Mathis

18 – The Prince’s Gamble by Caridad Pineiro

19 – Thirteen, Amityville Horrible, The Calling and Forbidden by Kelley Armstrong

20 – Infinity Ring: A Mutiny in Time by James Dashner and Infinity Ring: Divide and Conquer by Carrie Ryan

21 – The Illustrated Stephen King Trivia Book by Brian James Freeman and Bev Vincent, illustrated by Glenn Chadbourne; The Illustrated Stephen King Movie Trivia Book by Brian James Freeman, Hans Ake Lilja and Kevin Quigley, illustrated by Glenn Chadbourne

22 – Building Stories by Chris Ware

23 – Shadow Bound by Rachel Vincent

24 – Temptations Heat and Temptations Kiss by Michelle Zink

That’s a total of thirty-eight books! All of them are wonderful and I know that I still didn’t read all the books I wanted to out there. There are still tons more to come and lots more I’m reading and re-reading all over again.

Hopefully you find something you love for yourself or someone else on this list. After all, thirty-six is a lot. There are too many books that should get a mention every year with only ten, so why not thirty or more?

There’s something here for everyone. Get the book or the eBook and enjoy. After all, winter was made for reading.
