Today is the release day for Night of Stars: The Deep Woods Book Three! It will be available from Cobblestone Press later today!
How cool is that? I’m so thrilled that the last book in the trilogy is finally out and everyone can finally find out what happens to Nicholas! Woot!
Here’s a bit about the novella:
Salem, 1692
Nicolas no longer recognizes his life. Having been given his heart’s desire in the form of his best friend Jackson, he has been told that he is a Guardian of the earth and his magic must quicken.
When Nicolas’ magic does quicken, the Guardians of Diana are threatened by the most dangerous of dark forces: the Shadows. They seek to destroy the Goddess and the very earth itself.
Can Nicolas find the strength inside of him to use his magic and save humanity?
Or will he lose the man he loves forever?
To celebrate, what better way than to give away free eBooks? I have five copies of each book to give away. That means that FIVE lucky people can win the entire trilogy! Woohoo!
What do you have to do to enter? Simple: Just leave a comment below in the comments section for this post by no later than midnight tonight (January 15th, EST) and tomorrow I’ll randomly pick five people! Easy peasy! The contest is open to all so spread the word!
Hey Everyone!
I love the Holiday Season. Every year I publish a holiday novella just for you, my readers. Last year, I published a novella titled 12. I had every intention of publishing the sequel 12 + 1 last year as well but, well, it never got written.
The beginning of the novella sat there, waiting for me. A few days ago, I got the idea that the novella needed. So, when I thought there was going to be no holiday novella to share with you, there is! 12 + 1 is a tad bit shorter than 12, clocking in at just under 6, 000 words. I’m really thrilled with how it turned out and can’t wait for you to read it.
However, here’s the thing: you’ll be able to read both 12 and 12 + 1 for FREE! How cool is that?
Oliver hates Christmas. He hates the fakery of it, the false joy that lifts everyone’s spirits. But only momentarily, only until the next box is opened, until the next piece of paper is torn away. But he is a true bringer of joy. In taking their lives, he is the giver of ultimate pleasure; and what better gift could there be for the Holidays than eternal bliss?
But this year is special. This year is 12.
Every year, for eleven years, Oliver has chosen twelve people, one person for each of the twelve days of Christmas. This year is 12. The final year. This year is personal. This is the year of the 12, payment for all of Oliver’s hard work. And he intends to collect. Eleven victims have already fallen-and Oliver has saved the best for last.
Merry Freaking Christmas. This year, there will be blood.
You can download 12 for free here:
You can read it on your PC or download it for free to your Kindle, iPad, iPod or android devices.
And here’s a bit about the sequel, 12 + 1:
It was the season where her lust for blood began, where father Oliver led her on a path of killing and taking life-except he called it giving joy for the Holidays.
She has achieved some renown as a performance artist. What the art going public don’t know is that all of her “canvasses” die. She takes them all, the blood hunger Oliver woke in her all those years ago far too strong to ignore.
Hoping to fool Oliver, she intercepts him in the street and leads him back to her apartment, hoping to once and for all give her father the ultimate Christmas gift and end his reign of terror forever.
Lenore plans to kill her father and take back her life this Christmas Eve. However, Christmas has a few gifts planned for her that Lenore doesn’t count on and red, after all, is a colour of the Holidays…
You can download 12 + 1 for free here:
https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/268006
You can read it online or download it in PDF, ePub and Kindle formats for use with all eReading devices.
Both are my gift to you this Holiday Season. And really, what’s wrong with a little Horror for the Holidays?
Enjoy!

Pretty awesome, no? I normally pick ten books to make it on the list but this year, since the world was ending and all (lol) I wanted to put all the books that moved me, engaged me and evoked a response from me.
Part Two of The Best Books of 2012 isn’t that long; after all, it’s practically Christmas! How th heck did that happen. Nevertheless, the rest of the list is awesome. Here they are in no particular order:
17 – The Twelve Tribes of Hattie by Ayana Mathis
18 – The Prince’s Gamble by Caridad Pineiro
19 – Thirteen, Amityville Horrible, The Calling and Forbidden by Kelley Armstrong

23 – Shadow Bound by Rachel Vincent
24 – Temptations Heat and Temptations Kiss by Michelle Zink
That’s a total of thirty-eight books! All of them are wonderful and I know that I still didn’t read all the books I wanted to out there. There are still tons more to come and lots more I’m reading and re-reading all over again.
Hopefully you find something you love for yourself or someone else on this list. After all, thirty-six is a lot. There are too many books that should get a mention every year with only ten, so why not thirty or more?
There’s something here for everyone. Get the book or the eBook and enjoy. After all, winter was made for reading.
Holy Crap!
I was doing up my end of the year letter. I usually do a rundown of all the books I’ve had published throughout the year. I didn’t think I had that many releases this year-I think I lost count along the way. I was going to include the list in my Holiday letter, but it’s pretty freaking long.
I’ve had a total of twenty-one releases this year. Twenty-one! Holy crap! I can’t believe it’s been that many, that I’ve had the pleasure of having that many happy moments throughout the year. Here’s the complete list:

Hope Falls from Books We Love (January 2012)

Sophie’s Choice from Wolf Flow Press (November 2012)
I normally think I have a busy year when I’ve had twelve or thirteen releases! It seems to have double in size this year. This means that I’ve had over sixty releases including fiction, anthologies and poetry. How crazy is that?
You can find ‘em all here at http://www.jamiesonwolf.com It would take too long to link to all of this year’s releases, so enjoy clicking through my site. There is some hidden content on the web site. Click around to see if you can find it. In includes two free ebooks and two book trailers! Sweet! There will be more coming soon!
Awesome!
